Now & Then

Vehicles here and there
Cars produce fumes
Polluting the air
Not a tree in sight
All being cut down
They try with all their might
But all efforts are in vain
Houses big and small
Transport high and low
Buildings short and tall
That's a picture of now
Children play in grassy ground
And Look! on the trees
Are birds, making chirping sound
People live in tiny huts
Making food from farming,
There is no technology, but
They lead wonderful life
Do you now understand
The difference between now and then
People are cleaning up this mess and
We'll soon live in a healthy planet
