Even though the shot give you a false image of me being the farmer, but it is not the truth. Celebration of Onam starts with a kazcha kula. (banana bunch for presenting) This is a typical celebration near Thrissur area in Kerala. Every home buys a big banana bunch like this before Onam and gets consumed through onam days. Most home buys more than one bunch too, this is a typical gift you give to your close relatives or friends. The price of the bunch is not only based on the weight, but also based on the look of the bunch. Based on how the bunch looks, the farmer will tell you a price per kilogram. That is the price of the bunch. The one in the shot is a 1000 rupee one.

Thanks to my other half who is behind the shot. I tried several clicks in the shop, but this is one which turned out to be the better one.
