Wedding Reception in US; a total surprise

I have this childish habit of getting into tears when overwhelmed with something. If yesterday was full of suprises and joy, today it was overwhelming to read about the background effort and behind the scenes.

I hate to be formal with friends. But still I want to start by appologizing everyone I would have hurt unknowingly during the party. I know refusing to wear the garland and commenting chicken curry is not good might be just few of the many things.

Ashwini posted two options for the reasons for such a wonderful party. Undoubtedely I will say the first one is the right one that we are the most luckiest and blessed to have this reception. I was just another bachelor trying to roam around tennis court and other places and the way you welcomed me as a married person was so special.

I have to admit honestly that the party was 100% surprise for us. I felt so bad that I didn't thought if I had 8 people to receive in the airport, then defnetely there would be a party or something in the weekend atleast there would be people visiting us on Saturday.

Things where you were just right and I acted like a fool.

Brindha kept on telling that she is not home and cannot come to her home to pick the car. I didn't think that she will never tell me like that and I didn't feel anything fishy.

Sunday morning call to Uma. I know Uma never sleeps after 8 in the morning. But still when she said I will drop you in the church instead of dropping at Brindha's home, I didn't think about it. But Uma, youracting of half sleep was not good enough. I know you were not sleeping and was confused when you said you want to sleep a little bit more thats why you are not dropping in Brindha's home instead dropping in church.

One full bag of onion and one full bag of tomato. Thanks to the Diwali party planned. But still I should have guessed that diwali party is 2 weeks from now and no way tomato will be good for 2 more weeks.

Shrinivas and Jeyasri.. can't believe they didn't tell me anything. Not sure what you people did for their training.

Buzzer check. I planned dropping by atleast Uma's and Ashwini's apartment on Saturday evening itself with Ann. But we got flat out sleep from noon to night on Saturday and I postponed the trip to Sunday after Church. Anyway good that you people had buzzer check installed. Curious to know what was your backup plan if we pushed the buzzer on Saturday evening.

Binzeer insisting me to make Ann wear saree to church. I can't believe that I didn't guess anything out of it.

Venkat asking me about church bulletin to divert my attention from my car parked in POPS parking lot. Was thinking why suddenly Venkat is asking about the bulletin because I was sure that he have seen me coming from church a lot of times and never asked this question. But still everything just as planned.

Special thanks to every one who made yesterday such a wonderful day for us. I am sure that I didn't do anything to earn this much love from all of you. Like I said we are just lucky and blessed to have you around.
